RESIDENT DIRECTOR

DEPARTMENT OF RESIDENCE LIFE
(10 months/Academic Year) 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Rivier University seeks a Resident Director for the 2013-14 academic year.  This position is a 10 month, live-in, with duty rotation shared between a team of three RD’s.  Responsibilities include community development, building and staff supervision, conducting counseling, crisis intervention and management and assistance with the programmatic and operational functions for the Department of Student Life/Housing Services. 

Remuneration includes on-campus apartment, college medical and dental plan, full meal plan with flex cash during the academic year, in-room technology (internet, phone and cable television), and tuition remission for all Rivier University classes and certificates.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Along with a commitment to and understanding of the mission of a Catholic Liberal Arts Institution, a Bachelor’s Degree and prior live-in residence life experiences are required.

The ability and willingness to support the mission of the University, in all daily activities.
