I am a Professor of Computer Science at the Rivier University, and teach courses in Computer Security, Networking Technologies, Advanced Networks, Network Management, Object-Oriented System Analysis & Design, Software Engineering, Software Quality Assurance, System Simulation & Modeling, Algorithms, Numerical Methods, Data Structures, Mathematics I, Linear Algebra, Statistics, Introduction to Computing, e-Portfolios, and Professional Seminar in Computer Science. I hold M.S. (1976) and Ph.D. (1979) in Mathematics & Physics from Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology, and M.S. (1998) in Computer Information Systems from Southern New Hampshire University

The author of more than one hundred articles and conference papers, I am also a reviewer for the AIAA Journal, Journal of Spacecraft and Rockets, Journal of Thermophysics and Heat Transfer, International Journal of Heat and Mass Transfer, International Journal of Computers and Structures, Elsevier, John Wiley & Sons, Prentice-Hall, IGI Global, and McGraw-Hill Publishing Company. I received the AIAA Journals Editors-in-Chief Award for publishing the survey paper "Aerodynamic Applications of Underexpanded Hypersonic Viscous Jets" in the Journal of Aircraft (Vol. 32, No. 3, 1995). I am a founder and the Editor-in-Chief of The Rivier Academic Journal (since 2005).

As a part-time lecturer, I also teach courses in Computational Fluid Dynamics, Mathematical Methods in Engineering Sciences, Analytical Fluid Dynamics, Continuum Mechanics, Gas Dynamics, Advanced Dynamics, Advanced Mechanics of Solids, Heat Transfer, Calculus II, and Fluid Mechanics at the University of New Hampshire in Manchester and Durham, NH.

In the past, I taught more than 25 different courses at Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI), Daniel Webster College (DWC), and  Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology. I worked at the Nortel Networks, Inc. and the Newbridge Networks, Inc. Previously, I was a Deputy Director at the Central Aerohydrodynamics Institute (TsAGI, Zhukovskii, Moscow region, Russia). Also, I am one of the founders of the Russian Branch of the Open University of Great Britain.

I am a senior member of the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA), a senior member of Association for Computing Machinery (ACM), and a member of Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE), Mathematical Association of America (MAA), and Software Association of New Hampshire (SwANH). Together with my wife Lyra, I travel a lot around the world making numerous pictures of people, nature, and historical, religious, and cultural sites. Some of my photo pictures are published in the Bedford Bulletin (Dec. 2002, Jan. 2003, April 2003 [p10, app], August 2003, October 2003, January 2004, August 2004, October 2004), and the Goffstown News (Sept. 2003).
