Every semester the Writing Program hosts both
coffee hour and lunch discussions about teaching and learning, with
specific attention to student writing and
practical strategies for teaching writing. Each event focuses on a
theme, frequently suggested by faculty (assignment design to promote
inquiry, strategies for effective peer response, workshop methods,
etc.). Refreshments are provided at coffee hours, and lunch
is served on an RSVP basis.
