RIVIER OFFERS SUMMER COMPUTER CLASS

High school sophomores and juniors are invited to enroll in a six-day Summer Institute in Computer Science, which will take place June 26 - July 1 at Rivier College

Students will have the opportunity to earn three college credits while learning fundamentals concepts of networking, multimedia, databases, and Web authoring in a hands-on environment. All instruction, to be provided by full-time faculty in computer science, will be Web-based and students will have access to Rivier's computing facilities.

Those enrolled in the program will live on campus and take part in a full range of activities, including visits to are high-tech companies and research labs.

COLLEGE TO OFFER COMPUTER SCIENCE INSTITUTE FOR HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS

            NASHUA, NH — High school sophomores and juniors are invited to enroll now in a six-day Summer Institute in Computer Science at Rivier College, June 26 through July 1.

            Students in the program will have the opportunity to earn three college credits while learning fundamental concepts of networking, multimedia, databases, and web authoring in a hands-on environment. All instruction, to be provided by full-time residential faculty in computer science, will be web-based and students will be able to take full advantage of Rivier’s state-of-the art computing facilities.
