Course Description( 3 credits )
The course offers students an opportunity to integrate the practical aspects
of the computing discipline within the theoretical framework developed in the
program's core courses. Students chooses an internship program in
the computing profession, and works under supervision of a faculty advisor and an on-site work
supervisor. A portfolio must be submitted to the course instructor at the
completion of the internship experience. Course credits are based on the type of
internship and the number
of work hours required by the internship employment. Course credits do not
replace the 36 credits required for the M.S. program.
Prerequisite : Approval of the Computer Science Program Director.
