CS616 Data Mining
| Course Description(3 credits ) Application of the techniques of artificial intelligence, pattern recognition, and mathematics to detecting meaningful patterns in large datasets. Data mining technology is used to discover subtle cause/effect relationships in data that might otherwise be unsuspected. Data mining technology is applicable whenever a large dataset is created and little is known about the relationships among the attributes of the data.
