CS340 Programming Languages
| Course Description( 3 credits ) Introduce the student to the formal definition of programming languages including specification of syntax and semantics. Global properties of algorithms including scope of declarations, storage allocations, binding time of constituents, and recursive procedures. A variety of programming languages is discussed. Prerequisites : CS250 Data Structures and Abstraction.
