CS180 Programming Fundamentals I


Course Description( 3 credits )
An introduction to problem solving and algorithmic solutions using a high-level programming language such as Java. Topics include primitive types, control structures simple input/output operations. Emphasis on functional abstraction and recursion, and on user-defined types, data structures, and run-time storage management. 

Prerequisite : MA120 Finite Mathematics or MA130 Precalculus, and CS120 Computer Driver's License or
                      equivalent.
