I am currently exploring opportunities to continue my work in the counseling field, and I would like the opportunity to at least discuss possibilities with you.

I can offer the following experience:
· Academic background includes a Masters with an emphasis in counseling Psychology, Rivier College.
· Individual, family and group counseling experience. Areas of expertise include dealing with issues of substance abuse and family violence.
· Designed, promoted and presented community outreach seminars so as to educate the public regarding the realities of substance abuse. Successful publicity efforts resulted in a three fold increase in seminar attendance.
· Hired and trained a staff of four counselors at an area residential center for substance abuse rehabilitation. Provided both individual and group supervision to all staff members. Consulted with a staff psychiatrist and psychologist as needed.

I want to continue to do this work in a college setting.
