Created a survey to assess the needs for new support services. Administered the survey through 25 in-person interviews and a random mailing of 120 members. Provided the staff with results that will be utilized as a resource in the future to initiate new programs.

Southern NH HIV/AIDS Task Force, Nashua, NH               August, 2005 – December, 2005
Internship (250 hours)

With limited financial resources, coordinated food drive, gathering complete holiday food baskets for sixty area client families. Developed and organized a system to facilitate the request and receipt of donations, organization of food basket items, basket pick-up and recognition of efforts made by volunteers and donors.  Contacted more than twenty area grocery stores, wholesale stores and farm stands, soliciting record donations.  Contacted area social service organizations to seek out additional items of need, receiving all items requested and then some.  Recognized by supervisor and staff for possessing a high level of motivation and initiative in carrying out this intensive project with minimal guidance and supervision.  Received numerous accolades from recipients of baskets

LANGUAGES        
French and Spanish on a basic conversational level; am planning on increasing knowledge of Spanish in the summer of 2007.

SUMMARY OF QUALIFICATIONS

COMMUNITY ACTIVITIES
- Mentored inner city child on a weekly basis, assisting with homework and school-related projects, resulting in an overall increase in grades (September, 2002 – June, 2003)

Odyssey of the Mind team for Nashua schools, placing in the top ten of state-wide competition (Fall, 2003)
- For three summers, organized and chaired an auction of goods donated from local business and community residents, raising more than $6000 per summer for local homeless shelter
