  Where do I stay?

• Rivier itself has four residence halls which houses mostly undergrads,but is open to Graduate Students as well.
• Many international students choose to share and live in apartment communities in and around Nashua.Here are some of our recommendations-
  • Royal Crest Apartments
  • Phesant Run Apartments
  • Twin Ponds
  • Bay Ridge Apartments
  • Regent Park Apartments
• In addition to this, the Student Development office maintains an Off-campus housing list, which often has advertisements for shared accomodation, homeowners looking for roommates etc.

• The Nashua Transit System has buses that take you in and around the city. Here's a fun fact, travel is free for students of Rivier!Just show your student ID to the driver and you're all set. Check out the link below for the routes and schedules

• Also, if you want to travel to Boston or Manchester from Nashua, your best choice would be to take the Boston Express! It wil also take you to and from the Logan airport. Check the link below for schedules and other information

• Rivier's Regina Library has a huge collection of textbooks as well access to digital resources.
• Rivier also has its own Bookstore, where you can rent textbooks (Student ID's will help you get a discount).
• You can get used textbooks online at amazon.com or chegg.com. You could get textbooks for as little as $10
• Check with students who have graduated to see if you could borrow their old textbooks.
• The Nashua Public Library is open to all students in Nashua. Check out their website at  nashualibrary.org

• First, check your eligibility to work with the International Student Specialist before applying for any job on-campus or off-campus.
• Summer job applications are posted between March-April.In summer, you can work up to 40 hours a week. These are posted on Rivier's website by Human Resources.Check for postings on Job Opportunities at Rivier
• Work study jobs are available all year around and you are allowed to work up to 20 hours a week. These are posted by Financial Aid on Rivier's website. Check for postings on Financial Aid
• Graduate Assistant Positions are advertised by Human Resources and only Graduate Students are eligible. These positions often waive tuition fees for up to 9 credits per semester.

• Rivier College has its own cafeteria that serves students succulent food day-in and day-out. But,if you're a stickler for good ol' "ghar ka khana" and want to stick with indian food, you have plenty of options.Notable indian restaurants in Nashua are as follow:

• YES!Regal Cinemas in Westborough,Massachusetts and AMC theatres in Methuen,Massachusetts play the latest Indian movies.Check out movies schedules at Regal Cinemas and AMC Theatres
• The Nashua Public Library has a great collection of Hindi Movies.Some indian grocery stores keep indian movies in other languages as well.
