Inside Sales Specialist
Our client, the US branch office of a well-established European electronics manufacturer, located near Newburyport, MA is seeking a professional, high-energy Inside Sales Specialist to work cooperatively with Marketing, Support, Sales Management and Distribution to grow existing business, develop new customers and increase customer satisfaction. This is a highly visible position with tremendous growth opportunity.
Develop new business through an ongoing proactive outbound campaign based on leads generated by research, trade shows, marketing campaigns, existing database, etc. Develop and maintain an expert level of knowledge on company products and competition in the market. Proactively provide outstanding customer service, educate customers about terminology, features and benefits of the Company’s products. Determine customer requirements and expectations in order to recommend appropriate products and solutions. Maintain and update corporate CRM database (Goldmine is a plus).
Must have strong communication skills (verbal and written), be comfortable making large numbers of outbound calls (e.g., prospecting, following up), demonstrated ability to understand and explain technical products within computer hardware and networking. Good time management, multi-tasking, MS Office Suite and CRM System skills. Must be able to work well without direct supervision and also as part of the overall team.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent proven work experience with a minimum of two years professional experience in a similar role. (Recent college graduates with some related internship experience will also be considered). Background with computer hardware and networking preferred. Spanish language skills a plus.
