Wisconsin Badger Camp is currently seeking energetic summer staff who are looking to make a difference and gain rewarding experiences working with people who have disabilities. There is no experience necessary; the perfect staff member is someone who is excited to learn and has a passion for helping others.
Wisconsin Badger Camp is a residential summer camp that serves children and adults with developmental disabilities. Our campers range in age from 3 to 93 and have a wide range of diagnoses ranging from people who are on the autism spectrum, have Cerebral Palsy, Down's Syndrome, Epilepsy, Spina Bifida and many other conditions. Wisconsin Badger Camp does not turn away campers bases upon the mildness or severity of their disability.
Wisconsin Badger Camp offers staff more than just a summer pay check; it offers a summer of new experiences, growth, friendships and memories to last a lifetime! At Wisconsin Badger Camp, staff will gain valuable life and work skills including leadership and management, skill-building, training and enrichment opportunities. Regardless of a student's major, a summer working at Wisconsin Badger Camp also offers a competitive salary package including room and board for the duration of the summer season and the possibility of internships and college credits! Wisconsin Badger Camp's 2013 summer season begins May 31st and ends August 17th.
