Career and job fairs provide a means to meet many employers at one time, to explore job and internship opportunities, and to research hiring trends by industry or career field:

Prepare for the fair by learning about the employers who are attending, the kinds of jobs that they have to offer, and whether or not there is a possibility of an immediate interview.  Be sure to dress professionally and bring multiple copies of your resume. Research employers of interest beforehand, so they know you have done your homework and have some knowledge of their products, services, and employment needs.
