2007 Season Outlook

The 2007 women’s soccer team returns eight players from last year’s team, which won eight games and made the playoffs for the first time in six years. Eight new players join the squad, including seven freshmen, making the Raiders one of the youngest teams in the conference. With 13 players either freshmen or sophomores and only 3 juniors, this is a team that will play together for the next 3 years.

This year we hope to come together as a team and create an environment of family and hard work. We hope to set a standard that will endure as new classes come into the program, with current the players teaching the new players what it means to be a Raider and what the expectations are both on and off the field. There is a strong core of players this season who are both talented players and also talented people. We are hopeful for 2007 and beyond.
