ATHLETICS TEAMS

Rivier's five men's and five women's varsity athletics teams are competitive in NCAA Division III.

In recent years, the men’s volleyball team has put Rivier College on the NCAA map. Last season, the men's volleyball team went to the Division III Championship. The team has been nationally ranked every year since 2001 and recently won its sixth straight NECVA New England Collegiate Volleyball title.

But Raider honors and awards aren’t limited to volleyball. The baseball team made it to the GNAC final four this past season. In 2005-2006, freshman basketball player John McAllen beat out players from more than 425 teams nationwide to be named the leading 3-point shooter in Division III men’s basketball in the country.
