This exhibition probes visual signifiers that give the African American experience an important place in the cultural and spiritual life of our nation. The artists are highly acclaimed for their accomplishments, both in the United States and abroad. Currently Goodnight’s work is in the international group show that will travel in the United States and then in South Africa to commemorate the 2010 World Cup events; Holmes is a participant in Harvard University’s Black Arts Festival; Miller is conducting workshops as an Arts Management Envoy from the United States to the Ivory Coast, Africa.
