Priority Filing Date: March 1, 2014
Students who wish to be considered for financial aid for the 2014-2015 academic year should file as close to the priority filing date of March 1, 2014 as possible. As a result of limited student financial aid resources, Rivier must establish priority deadlines for financial aid applications. It is the student's responsibility to ensure that the FAFSA is filed by the priority deadline. On-time financial aid applicants are given full consideration for assistance. Availability of funds cannot be guaranteed for late applicants; therefore, late applicants will be considered on a funds-available basis. Students may file their FAFSA at www.fafsa.ed.gov .
In order to award federal funding for a student, the Office of Financial Aid must have a valid student aid report (results from the FAFSA). The deadlines for filing a FAFSA and provide any additional documentation/information that the Office requests are as follows:
For Fall-only students - October 17, 2014
For Fall/Spring students - March 13, 2015
For Summer-only students - June 5, 2015
PLEASE NOTE: Furnishing required documents by these deadline dates does not guarantee awarding of Rivier need-based funding (Rivier Grant) for day students. As this is a limited pool of funding, students are strongly encouraged to provide the necessary documents well before these deadlines. If you have any questions, please contact the Financial Aid Office at 603-897-8510 or at firstname.lastname@example.org.
