Math is basic to our everyday lives – money, measuring, problem solving, analyzing, and reasoning. Advancements in science and technology, and data capture and modeling have increased the demand for math majors in nearly every industry.

Rivier’s math degree develops students’ quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills to prepare them for a variety of careers in business, the sciences, technology fields, government sector and education. Internships, study abroad, and co-curricular activities provide real-world, resume-building experiences, and the start of a professional network.

Additionally, the University offers pathway opportunities to math program students. Graduates are prepared to enter Rivier’s MBA, M.A. in Teaching Mathematics, and M.S. in Computer Science programs.
