The Rivier-Nashua Professional Development School Collaborative
The Rivier-Nashua Professional Development School (PDS) Collaborative draws on the expertise and resources within each institution to support the social, cognitive and emotional growth and development of all students. The collaborative builds on the existing successful partnership in which teachers from schools across the Nashua School District host Rivier teacher candidates throughout their professional preparation program.
The school district and the College work together towards common educational goals that include:
- developing exemplary practice to maximize student outcomes
- providing optimum sites for pre-service teacher training
- offering connected in-service teacher professional development
- implementing reflective inquiry to enhance teacher and student learning and development.
