Academic Philosophy
"My academic philosophy is rooted in humanism which encourages student autonomy while they develop to their full potential.  I provide a supportive and stimulating environment with respect for every student's individual learning style.  It is my goal as a nursing instructor to assist students in attaining a core understanding of health, the role of  the nursing process in achieving optimal wellness and the foundation of human caring that supports all clients.  Most importantly, I hope to inspire students to develop a lifelong love of learning especially focused in evidence-based nursing which will create nurses dedicated to exceptional practice."
