"My goal as a nurse educator is to instill in my students a lifelong love for the profession of nursing. In order to be an effective nurse, an individual needs to commit to becoming a lifelong learner, so I want my students to like learning! I incorporate the concepts of adult learning in my teaching philosophy, including the importance of personal responsibility for my students and myself, mutual respect and consideration, and attention to the individual needs of each student."
