Career in Art Day Registration The art department is hosting a Career in Art Day on Friday, November 7, 2008 from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. The Career in Art Day will provide an opportunity for students to talk with professional designers, artists, and published faculty about jobs in the visual arts. High school art teachers and students will have a chance to tour Rivier's state-of-the-art digital and studio art facilities and talk to Rivier art majors about their college experience and professional plans for the future. During this event, our art faculty will be on hand to review portfolios and discuss careers in the arts, Rivier's art programs and facilities, and the aspirations and goals of future artists and designers.
