Command of the Spanish language has never been more in demand in the workplace and the classroom than it is today, thanks in part, to the growth of international business and a steady influx of immigrants to the United States. Students who master Spanish as their second (or third) language can expect to have virtually unlimited career opportunities—in business, law, government, education, and healthcare settings.
Rivier’s modern language majors graduate with language proficiency, cultural sensitivity, and strong communication skills in Spanish and in English—excellent preparation for competitive entry into teaching or many other careers. Modern Language students receive hands-on learning in several courses, including: Rivier in Oaxaca and Modern Language Community Service Internship.
