A formal notification of intent to graduate must be submitted to the Rivier University Office of the Registrar by each candidate for a degree to be awarded. Submit your Application for Graduation electronically via the link above, or contact the Office of the Registrar for a paper application.
Deadlines for returning the forms: August 1 for the end of the summer semester to graduate on September 2; December 1 for the end of the fall semester to graduate on January 2; February 1 for the end of the spring semester to graduate in May.
Students who complete degree requirements after the summer or fall semesters are encouraged to participate in the Commencement ceremony in May.
Students are advised to check with their Department Chairperson or their Academic Advisor to be certain that all requirements for graduation have been met. Students will receive information from the Registrar’s Office after completing the Application for Graduation.
A mandatory graduation fee of $125 is charged to all students’ accounts upon acceptance of the Petition to Graduate. Student account balances must be paid in full before diplomas are issued. Students can pay their graduation fee on their MY LEDGER in MyRiv.
