The Hill House serves clients on the margins in the Hill District of Pittsburgh. A volunteer is needed to serve as the Student Support Services Coordinator that will work directly with students, assisting them in accessing supportive services to address individual barriers to school success.

Mercy Education Project provides after-school one-on-one remedial tutoring, a summer program, and other activities to at-risk girls in 1st-12th grades from Detroit and provides education and job skills training to women from low-income households in Detroit. All programs are designed to help women and girls overcome the stigma of earlier academic failure as they work toward short and long-term goals.
Accompany the Homeless in San Francisco
The Faithful Fools was created to establish a community of people who address the policies, attitudes and lack of knowledge that perpetuate homelessness and poverty in San Francisco and beyond. Through the arts, education, advocacy and accompaniment they work to build community by breaking through boundaries that separate people. A volunteer is needed to support the hospitality team, to accompany individuals who seek housing and supportive services, and to organize events at the center.
